Why waterproof?

To protect your wing from the perspiration on your back during hike & fly activities. Perspiration can be harmful to your wing fabric. To protect it, a waterproof fabric panel has been integrated into the NEO Easypack Waterproof. This waterproof ripstop fabric is specially developed by NEO and has a waterproof column rating of 2,000 mm.
The waterproof fabric panel will protect your wing from perspiration whether you fold your wing into 3 or 4 sections.

Why make the folding bag waterproof?

… and not the carrying bag?

Because it helps maintain good breathability for your back. The carrying bag fabric is positioned between your back and the waterproof fabric of the folding bag. This layer ensures good
breathability, functioning similar to a layering system used in technical clothing.

Why light but durable?

…High tenacity triple Ripstop

The Easypack Waterproof from NEO is made entirely of ripstop fabric, which prevents the propagation of any tears or punctures. The main fabric of the bag is a new lightweight triple ripstop polyamide, weighing just 40 g. The triple ripstop weave is highly tear resistant. The waterproof fabric panel is also ripstop. The Easypack Waterproof weighs 220 g, including compression strap

Folding in 3 or 4 sections

The bag can be folded into 3 or 4 sections depending on your wing configuration and the size of your carrying bag. The bag opens at the bottom to allow your wing to stay connected to its harness. Plastic buckles help hold the wing in place when closing the zipper. During compression, air is expelled through a mesh panel in the top of the bag. The leading edge is protected by the zipper closure, which covers it completely. The compression strap is integrated and centred, regardless of the folding configuration. A riser attachment is also provided.
