For Hiking

Made from ultra-durable materials tested for over ten years on our paragliding equipment, the NEO Hike is built to last and comes with a lifetime warranty. Designed for alpine versatility, the Hike backpack features:

– A front opening inspired by our paragliding backpacks, with a double-slider zipper for easy and complete access to the main compartment, even when fully loaded.
– Large side pockets: two spacious, easily accessible external pockets for clothing or water bottles.
– A variety of storage compartments: both internal and external, including a pocket on the hip belt.
– Multiple hydration options: an internal compartment compatible with a 3 L hydration bladder, a flask holder on the shoulder strap, and side pockets for water bottles
– A stretchable, zippered Lycra® pocket in the top lid with an integrated key ring, ideal for essentials that you need within easy reach like sunglasses.
– Integrated loops for attaching trekking poles, ice axes, snowshoes, and a helmet.

An ergonomic ventilation system

The ultra-light fiber glass frame sets a new benchmark for comfort and innovation:

• This system promotes continuous airflow along the back during physical activity, providing a pleasant feeling of freshness, especially when worn with a light layer.
• Unlike conventional ventilated frames, the semi-rigid fiber glass frame of NEO ergonomically conforms to the natural curvature of the lower back, offering optimal support.
• It is designed to preserve the interior volume as much as possible. No space is sacrificed for the structure.
• The shoulder straps and hip belt are ergonomically designed to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
• Fully machine washable at 30°C for easy and effortless maintenance.

Fibre glass frame

The frame of NEO’s Hike backpack is made from fibre glass, which significantly reduces the weight compared to traditional mountain backpacks; only 895 g for the 20 L model. Fiber glass offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The flexibility of fiberglass allows to create ergonomic shapes and seamless integration of the backpack’s innovative ventilation system. Fiber glass also enhances the pack’s comfort while maintaining rigidity and lightness, which are essentials for comfortable carrying.

Front Opening

Inherited from our technical roots in mountaineering and paragliding, the design of our backpacks focuses on practicality and ease of use. The full front opening allows for simple and quick loading, whether it’s a paraglider or all your technical gear.

The double-zip system lets you easily access the bottom of the bag, even when it is fully packed.

Technology

RECCO® Technology

RECCO® is a rescue technology used by emergency rescue teams to help locate individuals buried in avalanches or lost in remote wilderness areas, such as dense forests.

It serves as an additional safety tool, offering peace of mind during your alpine adventures.

Booomtag® Technology

The bag is equipped with a Booomtag® chip, an integrated NFC system that allows smart phones to access key product information. It adds a layer of security and traceability by enabling you to register your bag, store your contact information and emergency contacts, report theft or loss, and even upload your purchase receipt.

If someone finds your bag, they can easily contact you to return it.

Options

Helmet /snowshoe holder

The NEO Hike is designed to easily carry bulky gear. Snowshoes and a helmet can be securely attached to the top or front of the pack for quick access and stable load distribution while moving. For the 30 L and 45 L versions, adjustable aluminum hook straps are included to attach extra volume underneath the bag, such as a tent or a sleeping mat. Optional helmet/snowshoe attachment.

Rain Cover

The NEO Hike backpack is water-repellent and can withstand several hours of moderate to heavy rain. For extended hikes in the rain, we recommend using a waterproof cover to ensure optimal protection and to help your gear dry faster once sheltered. The NEO rain cover is designed for a perfect fit:

• Size S for the 20 L and 30 L models.
• Size M for the 45 L model.
